Tokyo Lily – Focus on Tokyo’s Gravure Scene

Tokyo Lily – Focus on Tokyo’s Gravure Scene

When Tokyo Lily first reached out to us back in September 2025, we had a feeling something exciting was about to happen. Fast forward a few months, and two incredible events later, and we can safely say that the collaboration has been an absolute blast.

Tokyo Lily isn’t just a photography studio. In Japan, it’s a major name in the gravure world. If that term’s new to you, here’s the quick version: gravure is a uniquely Japanese style of media that mixes fashion, modeling, and fan culture. Think high-quality photo shoots featuring models (often called “gravure idols”) in swimwear or stylish outfits, combined with events, fan interaction, and a strong focus on personality and presentation. It’s less about runway fashion, more about visual storytelling and connection.

And that’s exactly where we came in. Tokyo Lily invited us to collaborate by providing sponsored swimwear for their events, and we jumped at the opportunity. Our pieces were featured at two major shoots on February 22 and March 21, 2026.

Tokyo Lily, as a platform, does a lot more than host events. They produce content, work with top models and entertainers, and even run annual awards in the gravure space (you might see titles like “Tokyo Lily MVP” floating around). So being part of their world felt like stepping into the heart of a vibrant creative scene.

From our perspective, seeing AMORESY designs come to life in that environment was something special. Gravure shoots are all about detail—lighting, posing, fabric, movement—and our gorgeous Sliktex spandex really got to shine. The models really loved the range of outfits they tried on. As for the gravure fans, they absolutely adored the results, and we faced huge demand from fans wanting to try out the sensational AMORESY swimsuits they saw their idols wearing.

We had a great time working alongside Tokyo Lily and we are certain that AMORESY's journey into the gravure scene will continue to grow with amazing collaborations like this.
